You'll need a yoga mat and a set of light weights to use the full DirtyYoga® program. On average, you'll start somewhere between 3 to 8 pounds for women and 5 to 12 pounds for men. The heavier you go, the stronger you'll get. If the workouts feel easy, it's time to increase the load.


You need about two feet of space on all sides of your yoga mat for a full range of movement.


All Dirty Yoga sessions begin immediately so we suggest starting standing at the front of your mat, with weights to hand (if it's a weighted workout).


Our workouts don't include Sivasana (or corpse pose), but you can simply add Sivasana or a final relaxation on your own to any workout. We've made it optional for two reasons: 1. When people are pressed for time, they don't get a lot out of it. 2. Sivasana is a pose people have no trouble doing on their own. But if you do have the time, we recommend it. It feels good.


By the way, Dirty is free of yoga muzak so that you can add your own soundtrack. We suggest putting together a play list (or two or three), or streaming the kind of music you'd like to get Dirty to.


















Be sure to check the length of the workout/s you want to do and give yourself enough time to do them (exact times are in the schedule and on the workout videos themselves). Our workouts run from 5 mins to an hour long, though most are around 30 to 40 minutes in length.
